I was so surprised that the kuihs here are rather delightful. One would never expect to get good authentic kuih muih while shopping in a mall. Well, 'Nyonya Colors' has proven me wrong. One noteworthy kuih to try here is their kuih lapis. I am very pernickety about my kuih lapis, it had to be firm yet elastic enough so that you can peel it off layer by layer at the same time have that 'not-sticking-to-the-teeth' criteria.📍: Nyonya Colors, Gardens, Mid Valley, KL
never expected to find good, authentic kuih in a mall, so I was nicely surprised to find this delightful Onde-Onde (RM2.65) at Nyonya Colors. Bite into these mini bombs and you will experience an explosion of gula melaka sweetness in your mouth. The melted palm sugar filling is a great complement to the chewy pandan exterior, which is rolled in shredded coconut for added texture..

Always love coming to this place. The colours popping through the variety of Nyonya kuihs on display, plus the aroma floating out from their kitchen makes it irresistible to not stop by and have a look to see what I could have, even though I may still be feeling stuffed! Kuihs are always fresh and moist, and hot food has great flavours. Service isn't fantastic and the place can get pretty filled up very fast when they are busy. Prices are also on the high end, but worth it for a spoilt treat every now and then.
Good local malaysian food and nice varieties of local kueh. Worth dining at this cafe. Fast customer service and hygiene
